i know this is late but i forgot i hadn't posted this.

i took way to many photos, had prosecco, and enjoyed trying to figure out what was going on with some of the garments. the "show" was in daryl k's studio on bond st. and her models were picked straight off the street(explains alot). shown is the lower line, Kerrigan and the daryl k collection.

these are some shots i got backstage at a fashion show in htown. i was a dresser and attempted to take photos( i wanted/still want THE BURBERRY HEELS. all of them) i got a few photos that i wanted but i was summoned to the back room(they just knew i had a camera).burberry, l.a.m.b, marc jacobs, peter som, naeem khan, zang toi, etc. some rad clothes were walking around and i only have a small amount compared to what was available. ugh.

Ports 1961

I went to the ports show and lucked out by sitting front row staring at jessica stam while she was preparing to hit the runway. she can sell just about anything. however, i didn't love the whole collection. there were some lovely pieces, but i think the inspiration behind it took over.( according to the notes at the show, ports designer Tia Cibani took inspiration from the mythology of Gaelic tales. the collection was seen through the eyes of their muse, Lassair (flame, fire pronounced law-seer), under the spell of a scottish winter. right. got it.

willow fall/winter 2008

i attended the kit willow show and really loved the entire collection. the boots looked amazing on the models, very modern victorian. the colours, textures and layers work quite well together.


i dream of strolling paris in these garments....if only i had lots of money. if only.

our adventure included an hour 1/2 train mission with subway jams, graffiti with help by a projector, a kurt cobain worshipper, freezing cold air, a collection of shoes, and a wellies mattress.
